- The 2022 edition of Skybox Metal Universe Champions features a bevy of intriguing inserts, including several new additions.
- The base set consists of 100 regular cards – each sporting a unique background design provided by the team that created the original 1997-98 Metal Universe set – and 50 high-series Metal Shredders cards (a new name and design for the high-series subset).
- The parallel lineup is extensive and will entice fans and collectors alike! There are seven colorful, serially-#’d PMG parallels ranging from Red (#’d to 150) to Purple (#’d 1-of-1), as well as Auto and low-#’d Gold Auto parallels.

The main card lineup in the 2022 Skybox Metal Universe Champions checklist offers 100 base cards and 50 high-series Metal Shredders (#101-150) cards, which are a new addition.

Of course, the popular Precious Metal Gems (PMG) parallels are back in several colors.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
2022 Skybox Metal Universe Champions caters to die-cut card fans with the all-new Looking to the Future (1:12 packs).
Z-FORCE
One of the debuting insert options, Z-Force (1:5 packs), honors the ’90s brand.
SKYBOX PREMIUM STAR EMERALD
In addition, Skybox Premium (1:5 packs) is another well-known series. The key chases here are the numbered Star editions, such as Star Emerald (#/25).
